Bulbs
Well it finally stopped raining long enough for me to get the rest of the front lawn bulbs in yesterday. The sun was shining at 4 and I rushed home. The ground was still damp, so I was a little muddy, but not bad. Now I just have to get my annuals in for instant color and then plant the glads along the fence line, but we have to plan the fenc out first. Why are all my hobbies SO much work?

I know I don't normally make pop culture posts, but there are 3 pop topics on my mind right now.
1. American Idol: I am SO done with the show now! Chris Daughtry is the best this show has ever had! Just shows you why American Popular music as a whole pretty much sucks and I listen to a lot of people that no one else has heard of. Just ask people that had to try to find something to get me from my birthday list. I need a disclaimer, "You can only get this on Amazon, No one at Best Buy will have a clue who these people are." Chris' band is Absent Element, a garage band which I'm hoping will get a recond deal and stick with the kind of music they have been doing. Don't sell out! Here's their website

2. LOST (caution may contain spoilers): I used to think I knew what was going on this show, but ? really raised more questions than it answered. THat plus "The Experience", man my head hurts! I really didn't think Libby was going to die because we never had a flash back for her, but she is going to be Desmond's on the season finally, so maybe we'll get some answers. Poor Hurley though, what a bad first date. I'm SO excited for next week, we get to find out where Micheal was while he was gone and what the heck happened, or at least it seems that way. I have convinced myself that "HE" is Walt, don't ask me why. If that is the case though, I'm going back to my very first theory about the whole thing, although the Hanso foundation through that all out of wack. I'll stop now, I could go on for hours.
3. Sims 2 Pets EP: I was actually on the Sims 2 site yesterday and came across info about the teaser video for the Pets EP! If it comes to be I'm going to be SO happy. I about leap out of my chair when I found out about it! I haven't been this excited since I found out that the Sims 2 itself was coming out. More details still to come! Good News for me, Bad news for Gwyn
So a couple monthes ago my ipod mini battery completey died after less than a year. Luckily, I had gotten a replacement plan at Best Buy (the sales man told us that ipod batteries don't last so a plan was definately worth the money), but I couldn't find the paperwork. Monday night I looked in my filing cabinet and there it was, what a strange place to keep it hu? So yesterday, which was my birthday ehem to those who missed it, I went to BB after work and told the lady about what was going on, and that is was complicated because they don't make the mini anymore. After a few minutes of talking to someone she came back to tell me that I was getting a credit for the full amount paid for it! Yippeee!!! ALso I had just gotten a nice birthday check from my in-laws a couple days earlier. So over to the MP3 players and I went and picked out my very own ipod video!!! I still had to pay some on it, but not as much and I got the plan for this one too. This is bad news for Gwyn who wanted to buy my mini, but you wouldn't have wanted to pay to replace the battery plus buy it from me. Marty said he'd sell you his when he is done with it, which he is waiting for the next generation of ipod video with a bigger screen. And no we won't playing whoever finds the ipod first gets it.
