From Bad to Worse
So this weekend had good and bad points. The good is Marty and I went to see the new Happy Potter Saturday night. All the shows were sold out at 3PM excpet the 9:30 show, so that's what we got. It was good, a little long to be sitting in the incredibly uncomfortable chairs of the Valley. It would have been fine in the comfy chairs of the Cinema. Now for the bad... the past two days proved to be terrible for my sinuses. My cold finally turned the corner and changed into a good old sinus infection. Yesterday it felt like someone had punched me in the nose, plus sinuses that I didn't even know existed started to hurt like crazy. So B was right, but I wasn't really surprised by that. Unfortunately the doctors won't give you anti-biotics until it's a full blown infection, so there was nothing to be done last week. I called my doctor's office this morning at 8AM hoping I could get the anti-biotics without having to go in since I've had so many and I know that is what it is, but I haven't heard back. I'm very frustrated because if she says she wants to see me then tomorrow would be the earliest and she is a very popular doctor so that would be doubtful. I JUST WANT TO START FEELING BETTER!!!
And of course I'm stuck here at work because someone can't get me their artwork to me in a timely manor (as in they should have had it here a week ago) Geerrrr...

Still SIck
Well, it's day 12 of the cold that just won't quit. I don't feel AS bad as I did last week, but I feel far from well. I'm about ready to rip my sinuses out of my head because I'm thinking they will feel better then. Friday I left work about 2 hours early and went home to take a nice 2 hour nap. That was good. All Marty and I did all weekend was sleep and then sleep some more. I slept 12 hours Firday night, several hours during the day on Saturady and then 15 hours Saturday night. Marty is still sick too, just not as bad as me anymore. A new study came out that concluded that the more time a person spends being cold, the more likely they are to catch a cold. So with the Rhynolds Syndrome and Autoimmune problems, I'm about screwed. Maybe when we go on our honeymoon, I just won't come back.I did have a nice chat with my brother Friday night. Very interesting. Also we went to Home Depot Sunday and got a snow blower. Very exciting! No, seriously, I'm excited about it. I have such a hard time with my asthma and the Rhynolds Sydrome, being outside in the winter time, and constantly being sick so Marty gets stuck doing most of the shoveling. We're hoping since it won't take anywhere near as long with the blower, that I can help more. It usually takes me an hour to an hour and a half to shovel our walk and driveway, so this will definately be faster.
